Bathroom Waterproofing
Bathrooms, toilets, and wet areas are exposed to water daily. Without a proper waterproof barrier under the floor tiles, moisture seeps through tile grouts, creating damp patches, saltpetre, and peeling paint on adjoining walls (like bedrooms and hallways).
Our Bathroom Sealing Approach
- Seamless Membrane: We create a continuous waterproof tray underneath tiles that rises 6 inches on the walls (splash zone).
- Pipe Insert Grouting: Epoxy grouting around water pipes, drain pipes, and traps to prevent leaks around fittings.
- Joint Sealing: Strengthening floor-wall wall junctions using flexible waterproofing tape.
Materials We Use
We apply double-layer polymer-modified cementitious coatings (such as SikaTop or Dr. Fixit Fastflex) which provide high flexibility, seamless coverage, and strong adhesion to concrete bases before tiling is done.
