URBAN SEAL WATERPROOFING
Lift Pit Waterproofing
Lift pits are deep, below-ground concrete chambers highly vulnerable to heavy hydrostatic groundwater pressure. Hairline cracks or porous masonry in lift pits allow ground moisture to collect, creating pooling water that damages elevator lifts, mechanical components, and structural steel rails.
Our Lift Pit Solutions
- Pressure Injection Grouting: Inserting packer nozzles to inject hydrophobic expansion polyurethane resins directly into structural cracks, blocking live ground streams.
- Active Crystalline Slurry: Applying chemical crystalline coatings that penetrate concrete pores, reacting with moisture to seal capillary tracts permanently.
- Negative-Side Plastering: Heavy-duty polymer-modified compound plastering to resist negative-side hydrostatic pressure from the surrounding earth.
